Does anyone know anything about he Tricare PRIME refferal Process? Do I have to wait til my Authorization come?

s in mail? Or can I just go somewhere and tell them I know what doctor/Specialist I want to see? It says it come take 7-10 days for the refferal to come in mail, but if I find a specialist on my own can i just call them and tell them so i can go ahead and set up the appointment?
