Stomach ulcer pain?? how do i deal with this?

ive been dealing with this for over a year..i manage it most of the time but if i take a couple of days off or don't have the resources to manage it such as the foods...it hurts like hell its a gastric ulcer in my actual stomach under my left ribs..ive been to the ER but they found no obstructions or ruptures so sent me home with ranitine an vicodin...anyway i have a endoscopy in like..a few weeks..anyway ive done ALOT of research on stomach ulcers.. i mean alot and i know alot..but it would be nice if someone could give me some new tips or herbal remedies.??do any of you know any tips or herbal remedies to manage a gastric ulcer...????thanks
