Is this good? My boyfriend's a high school football player..?

and he won the defensive player of the year for his conference this season. I want to congratulate him, but I'd at least like to know what I'm telling him, "Good job!" for! Lol. He's a defensive end, and he finished the season with seventy tackles, and twenty of them were sacks. Is that good to have seventy tackles in a season? What's the average for high school? It's not his senior year, so I really have a feeling that I have a looooot more to learn about football! Haha.
