Swing door tempered gl shattered!!?

I have a 1yr old plus tempered gl swing door shattered for no reasons, what could be the cause? There is no 1 at home and i'm sure nothing hit it(in a enclosed area). The best part isi tried to call the reno company to replace and they are giving all sorts of excuse, is there anything i can do? I'm living in s'pore. tks
