What are some similarities about the play Hamlet and real life?

I was asked on a research paper to explain what the similarities are between the play Hamlet and my life. I personally didn't read the play when I was supposed to, and certainly don't have time to read it in 10 minutes. So could anyone help me out? What are the similarities between real life, and the play Hamlet by Shakespeare?
