What do I wear for my Courthouse Wedding?

My fiance and I are getting married at the Courthouse in January 2007. He has been married 1x before. I was enagaged to be married before and I have a wedding dress that never has been worn. My fiance told me I could wear the dress when we did get married cause my deceased mom seen it and she loved it. We have one child togeather. I'm not sure if I should just wear the dress or should i wear something else? Please help!!!
